Shooting boudoir images on location mean you’re going to have to be creative about where and when you shoot but the results as in today’s image can be unique and something different. The best places are those that accommodate to the client’s needs, not just photographically but comfort as well. That’s why private locations for intimate portraiture are best. You may even have such a location at your home or a friend’s house.
Sometime the location and the subject’s clothing—or lack thereof—will dictate a pose. The right locations provide a place where the subject can pose and be comfortable. One of the positive aspects of outdoor portraiture—including intimate portraits such the one at right—is that there’s always something for the subject to interact with.
This portrait was made at the home of the client’s friend that had a large foyer that made it possible for us to see the dramatic lighting featured in this intimate portrait—giving it a classy, Playboy-style look.
During a shoot, our photographers constantly let the subjects see what the images look like—on the camera’s LCD screen—so they understand the kind on images being captured. If they don’t like what they see, we try something else; if they like what they see we work on improving the portrait until its the best and the subject is at their most beautiful.
Because of that our photo sessions are not a cookie cutter process where you’re placed in the same pose as the last client; all of our sessions are different because all our clients are different. Our goal is to make your intimate portrait the best possible photograph it can be.
